Fertility Consultancy is assisting a client being a supplier of products to fertility clinics in the
search for a Marketing Manager to lead the communicational activities in the region.
Following is a description of the expectations and ideal candidate.
Location: Thailand, Malaysia or another strong fertility market in the APAC region.
Reporting to: APAC General Manager and Global Marketing Director
As a vital member of the international Marketing team, the Marketing Manager for the region
will collaborate closely with global counterparts to execute regional strategies and ensure
alignment with the overall vision and objectives of the company.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Implementation:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with the company’s global vision and objectives.
- Ensure APAC marketing plans are synchronized with the global marketing plan,
collaborating with regional sales to select the appropriate marketing mix. - Define customer value propositions based on a deep understanding of customer
challenges and clinical workflows. - Execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer
acquisition/retention, and revenue growth in the APAC, always aligned with the Global
Marketing team.
Product Launch & Promotions: - Support the development of regional KOLs in collaboration with executing the global
product launch plan, including value proposition, product positioning, pricing strategy,
awareness & advocacy strategies, and sales enablement. - Adapt global product launches to the APAC market according to specific needs.
- Oversee product management responsibilities, including product launch planning and
execution, marketing communication content generation, documentation, and pricing
activities.
Marketing Campaigns: - Utilize market analysis, customer needs analysis, and competitive positioning to develop
differentiated positioning of product solutions and services. - Collaborate with Advertising ti Promotion and Communications to develop a
communications plan in support of the marketing objective. - Manage all marketing efforts, including branding, conference planning and execution,
public relations, and digital marketing. - Provide the global marketing team with APAC market-specific messages and materials to
include in the global digital marketing strategy.
Partnerships and Engagement: - Develop and execute marketing strategies to effectively communicate key messages,
product introductions, and technology updates to external KOLs and customers. - Adapt the global marketing strategy to effectively communicate key messages, product
introductions, and technology updates to external KOLs and customers. - Leverage KOL/customer insights, global team collaborations, and industry trends to
develop and execute integrated campaigns/programs.
Content Creation: - Possess a deep understanding of product technologies, solutions, and services to
effectively differentiate and position the company in the APAC market. - Adapt the global marketing visual content in various formats, such as PowerPoint
presentations, infographics, or supporting videos, to visually represent our narrative and
engage our KOLs & customers. - CraS compelling narratives for industry events, showcasing thought leadership in product
innovation, product strategy, and services.
Budget Management: - Manage the local marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize
ROI, subject to the approval of the Global Marketing Director. - Track expenditures, forecast budget needs, and report on financial performance to senior
Marketing leadership.
Job Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing, communications, business, or a related field is
required. - Experience in the IVF or related industry is highly desirable.
- 4+ years of regional marketing leadership experience is highly preferred.
- Client-facing with some travel will be required.
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills with the ability to use numbers, data, and
visual content to tell a story, influence decision makers, and explain complex concepts
clearly to a variety of audiences. - Proficient in visual content creation using tools such as PowerPoint, Adobe, Photoshop,
and infographics. - Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem-solving, analytical critical thinking, leadership,
and communication skills used effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at
various levels in a matrixed environment. - Demonstrated success in establishing, developing, and maintaining business relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute brand and customer marketing strategies to
include innovative approaches and digital engagement. - Experience developing and executing digital marketing media, paid media, social media,
and press release strategies. - Strong knowledge of marketing principles and utilizing market research insights to
effectively translate market trends and customer needs into actionable resources and
tactics. - Creativity, innovation, high standards, and attention to detail.
- Strong self-starter mentality, with the ability to proactively generate ideas and drive efforts.
