Job Overview:
FC is on behalf of an international company supplying Fertility Clinics & Hospitals seeking a Commercial Leader, who is a result-driven person able to oversee the commercial strategy in Spain by managing distributors, analyzing the market potential, identifying new market opportunities, expanding as well as onboarding new distributors and clinic customers. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the Spanish market situation incl. sales, distributor management, and the ability to build and optimize processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Analysis and Opportunity Sizing:
– Conduct thorough market analysis to identify potential opportunities and trends in distributor markets.
– Size market opportunities and develop strategies for market penetration and expansion.
Distributor Management:
– Manage and nurture relationships with existing distributors.
– Identify, evaluate, and select new distributors in alignment with the company’s growth objectives.
– Act as the main point of contact for distributors, addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing necessary support.
Onboarding and Process Development:
– Coordinate the onboarding process for new distributors, working collaboratively with internal teams.
– Develop and implement effective onboarding processes to ensure seamless integration with systems and values.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
– Work closely with embryologists/product specialists for product and sales training to ensure distributor teams are well-equipped.
– Collaborate with the Service team to resolve issues promptly and enhance the overall product and service experience.
Support the Supply Chain team by providing input for accurate forecasting and ensuring timely delivery.
Performance Measurement:
– Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for distributors and conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
– Set sales objectives and minimum order quantities to drive revenue growth.
Expansion and Revenue Generation:
– Drive revenue from distributor markets and identify opportunities for business model expansion.
– Develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize market share.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
– Proven experience in international sales and distributor management.
– Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to build and optimize processes for efficiency.
– Familiarity with the biotechnology or experience within the fertility sector/medical device industry is preferred.
Travel days annually: domestic travelling in Spain primarily – estimated 50-60 days.
